The Scorecard Benchmark Report provides the aggregated responses to every question in the Scorecard, for all respondents and for 12 benchmark groups based on industry, employer size and geographic region. Results are provided for:

Report Format
The report is provided as an Excel spreadsheet, with the aggregated results for all respondents and for each of the benchmark groups on separate tabs. The report also includes an introduction and brief commentary on the findings by industry experts.

Create a Tailored Report
We’ve also provided a report template and instructions so you can easily create a printer-friendly report that displays just the three benchmark groups most relevant to your organization (along with the results for all respondents). Just select and highlight the benchmark groups you want to include, and cut and paste them into the template. When printed out, this 17-page report is neat, attractive and easy to read. It includes a cover page, introduction and commentary.

Important caution – it’s still early days for the Scorecard benchmarking database! For every data point in the report, we show the number of employers whose responses are represented. The database is still small, with only 141 respondents as of September 1, 2009. When looking at the results for specific benchmark groups, the number of respondents can become quite low and the findings must be viewed with caution. As the database grows, we will be able to sort the data into additional benchmark groups.

That’s why, when you order the Scorecard Benchmark Report, we’ll provide you with four quarterly reports, updated with the new responses. There is no additional charge for the report updates -- we want to make sure that you have the most robust data available while the Scorecard database is still growing!
