Why is the Forum so
meaningful and successful? The Forum is different.
All events are highly interactive, with the time shared
between the facilitators and you, the participants. The employee
health management (EHM) experts do not lecture on "what you should do",
instead they use an interactive approach to help you learn "how to do
it". During the discussions, the participants have time to share
their experiences, reaction, critique, questions and answers.
Another thing that makes the Forum different is that you are a
participant in the highly respected and coveted C. Everett Koop
National Health Awards ceremony. The following are the Forum core events:

The Power of Corporate
Culture
In the world of employee health management, there is increasing
opinion that corporate culture is a prerequisite for the
creation of successful EHM programming. The primary question is
what is necessary to create health oriented corporate culture?
This Audience-Panel Discussion features a large, mid-size, and
small company which are universally recognized for having
exemplar levels of corporate culture. The companies involved
are: Johnson & Johnson, Affinia Group, and
Lincoln Industries.
This is a rare opportunity to interact with national experts who
know what corporate culture is, and how to achieve employee
buy-in.

EHM Research
Quality, unbiased, research is essential for the success of the
EHM industry. Fortunately, the volume and quality of research
is increasing significantly. This is a good thing because
program documentation and outcomes are not an option, but a
requirement. This Audience-Panel Discussion brings together
four of the top EHM research experts and thought leaders. They
will provide an overview of research that is in the planning
stages, underway, and that which has been recently published.
There is ample time for you to ask questions and provide your
critique. Your knowledge about EHM research will increase
significantly.
|
EHM Innovation
Getting out of the box is what this Audience-Panel Discussion is
all about. Looking for, and developing new, more effective
ways to create behavioral change, increase participation,
enhance cost impact, and reduce health care costs is at the
epicenter of innovation. This Audience-Panel Discussion
features individuals who have an established record of
understanding and developing major EHM innovation activities.
This is a highly interactive event, where you will have the
opportunity not only to absorb the recommendations of the panel
members, but to also discuss and explain your innovation
concepts and success.

HERO Best Practice
Scorecard – Version 3.0
in Collaboration with MERCER

Teams
from HERO and Mercer have worked together to enhance the art and science
of employee health management (EHM) benchmarking and best practice
through the creation of the HERO Scorecard V3.0. The objective is
to elevate the understanding, acceptance and accountability of EHM best
practice and establish the Scorecard as the assessment instrument of
choice. Part of this effort has been the creation and operation of
a large scale benchmark database. The database is operational and
is being populated by a rapidly growing number of EHM programs.
The new HERO Benchmark Report is now available. The Benchmark
Report provides a comprehensive view of EHM programs and practices used
by employers, both large and small. Included in the
Benchmark Report are the aggregate responses to over 75 Scorecard
questions that supply comprehensive information on issues like program
strategy, design and outcomes. In addition, results have been
divided into benchmark groups, based on: industry, size, and
geographical location. This compares your program's benchmarking
and best practice development with other demographically similar
programs.
You can order your Benchmark Report using an American Express, Master
Card of Visa credit card. You will receive the current Benchmark
Report within three business days. Later your will receive three
additional update reports automatically at the the close of each
quarter. The one year, four Benchmark Report package cost is $500.
